HabitatBank of dry minor creek (pig- and flood-disturbed). Moderate slope above arroyo. Clay. Associates: Quercus douglasii, Lessingia tenuis, Navarretia jaredii, Hemizonia lobbii, Nassella cernua, Elymus glaucus, Leymus triticoides, Bromus hordeaceus. Locally common. Annual. odor strong +/- sweetish, somewhat unpleasant. Stem long- and short-haired. Erect and unbranched to spreading and branched at base, to 3 dm tall. Corolla white. Anthers hairy. Style glabrous. Fruit immature to nearly mature.
