Locality Modoc Plateau. East side of Skedaddle Mountains; large meadows along Skedaddle Creek, just upstream from 'Skedaddle Ranch.

HabitatBroad flat meadow of rushes and sedges, heavily grazed; slopes are Artemisia tridentata/Purshia tridentata. At edge of small shallow ponded spot along the creek channel along the edge of the meadow; the ponded spot choked with Ranunculus aquatilis var. diffusus. These plants with small blue flowers.
