Locality Northern High Sierra Nevada. West side of lower Thompson Valley, 1.2 mi NNW of the mouth of McReynolds Creek at Red Clover Creek.

HabitatSlightly east-sloping to flat ground; vernally moist flats among open shrubland of Purshia tridentata, Artemisia tridentata, Wyethia mollis, ca 450 ft down from edge of open Ponderosa-Jeffrey pine forest. In drying gravelly soil with Plagiobothrys hispidulus, Navarretia breweri, Collinsia torreyi var. wrightii, Juncus hemiendytus, Polygonum polygaloides var. kelloggii and some other annuals.
