Locality Warner Mountains. Northwestern flank of Mount Bidwell; ca 0.6 air mi S of Dismal Swamp.

HabitatW-facing hillside of shrubland with diverse perennials, off upper edge of open lodgepole pine forest. common among other vegetation, in partial shade at bases of trees or shrubs. Here with Artemisia tridentata, Ribes sp., Symphoricarpos sp. Chrysothanmnus viscidiflorus, Lupinus argenteus, Castilleja applegatei subsp. pinetorum, and small groves of stunted Populus tremuloides.
