Locality Inner North Coast Ranges. 2.9 air km south-southeast of town of Elk Creek; along northeast side of Stony Gorge Reservoir, along access Road 3.9 km south of Hwy 162.

HabitatWest-sloping blue oak woodland; sedimentary rock substrate but deep soils; occasional Arctostaphylos manzanita. Convex opening in the blue oak woodland, the soil here quite churned by feral pigs, thus the annual grasses not so thick here; lots of Micropus californicus, occasional Delphinium hesperium, Sidalcea diploscypha. These plants past flowering, common here.
