Locality Sacramento Valley. Extreme W edge of Sacramento Valley; ca 5 air mi NW of Maxwell, 0.4 mi southeast of Funks Reservoir on top of N-trending ridge southeast of outlet toTehama-Colusa Canal. In grassy hills about 80 ft N of the canal.

HabitatIn grassy hills about 80 ft N of the canal with tall Avena fatua, Bromus hordeaceus and other annual grassland species. Several large healthy clumps only on highest point of this low ridge; this sp uncommon in vicinity.
