Associated with Camissonia boothii, Mimulus cf. fremontii, Eriophyllum wallacei, Eriogonum pusillum, Nama demissum, Chaenactis xantiana, Amsinckia tessellata, Phacelia crenulata, Nemocladus sp., Ambrosia dumosa, Larrea tridentata, Senna armata, Malacothrix glabrata, Mirabilis laevis var. retrorsa, Mentzelia cf albicaulis, Eschscholzia minutiflora, Cryptantha sp., Gutierrezia sarathrae, Hymenoclea salsola, Phacelia fremontii, and Gilia sp. Forb <1.5 ft tall. Populartion >800 in the area.
