Locality Found on metavolcanic rock outcrops and cliffs on west side of Bagley Mountain in conifer forest habitat. The plants grow in crevices on cliff faces on westerly aspects.

HabitatFound on metavolcanic rock outcrops and cliffs on west side of Bagley Mountain in conifer forest habitat. The plants grow in crevices on cliff faces on westerly aspects, 375 plants observed. Associated species include Holodiscus discolor, Lithocarpus densiflora, Arctostaphylos patula, Amelanchier utahensis, Quercus chrysolepis, Penstemon azureus, Polygala cornuta, Eriogonum nudum, Arabis breweri, Gilia capitata, Lomatium dissectum, Heuchera micrantha, Pellaea mucronata, Aspidotis densa, Allium campanulatum, and Elymus elymoides.
