Locality Mojave Desert. Northeast corner of Water Valley, 1.3 km south of the southeastern wall of Black Mountain; 1.8 km northwest of the northern-most end of Hinkley Road.

HabitatSouthern edge of fairly natural area; south of road is farmland, with large circular irrigation. Pale-sandy bajada with scattered Atriplex (?) scrub; with Amsinckia tessellata, Abronia villosa, Chaenactis fremontii, Malacothrix glabrata, Mentzelia sp, and occastional Lupinus.
