Among shrubs and small grassy openings (Ceanothus cuneatus, Cercocarpus betuloides, Fraxinus dipetala, Arctostaphylos viscida, Quercus berberidifolia; scattered bllue oak and gray pine). Plants shaded by low rocks at edge of a thin-soil opening.|
