HabitatSouth sloping bajada of Creosote shrubland with scattered Joshua trees, occasional cholla cactus, rabbitbrush, Lepidium fremontii, Ephedra nevadensis, Ericameria linearifolia, and Salvia spp. In sandy flats between shrubs with Amsinckia tessellata, Phacelia fremontii, P. tanacetifolia, Malacothrix glabrata, small annual Mentzelia spp and Cryptantha spp.
