Locality Sacramento Valley. On east bank of canal just inside the eastern levee of Sutter Bypass, just south of Hwy 113.

HabitatRiparian strip dominated by Acer negundo, Salix gooddingii, Maclura pomifera. Plant a thick-trunked tree abt 12 m tall, spreading with many long slender branches arching to within 3 m of the ground, just leafing out and with abundant flower buds; common here.
