HabitatDisturbed areas; vacant lots, along roads, on levees and beside bike path. Flora predominantly weedy with Salix, Rubus discolor, Cirsium, Bromus, Toxocodendron, etc.

NotesUSGS quad: San Cruz 7.5 Q.; Fairly common annual in a highly disturbed waste area between parking lot and levee. Plants mostly moribund or dead. Growing among litter and weeds. The same species was seen commonly along trails at Ano Nuevo St. Reserve, San Mateo Co., in the afternoon.;
