Locality Sacramento Valley; East side of Pine Creek Road 0.3 mile north of Pine Creek
HabitatLow rolling hills of annual grassland; soil often thin over volcanic bedrock. Four species of Brodiaea present, all with dark blue tepals and pale sterile anthers; B. minor almost through flowering, only found on the uplands; B. coronaria in full flower, only in the clay-bottomed swales; B. elegans in full flower, mostly on uplands; B. californica in full flower, mostly on uplands.
