Habitat | Fracture spring on steep, rocky slope of metasedimentary substrate. Spring area with Juncus mexicanus, Helianthus annuus, and Phragmites australis, surrounding slopes with open disturbed scrub of Eriogonum fasciculatum, Eriogonum elongatum, Lotus scoparius, Rhamnus crocea, Opuntia californica-parkeri, and Encelia farinosa with patches of old, senescent Adenostoma fasciculatum and Ceanothus crassifolius, all much invaded by Bromus spp., Avena barbata, etc. |
