Locally associated with Eriogonum elongatum, E. fasciculatum, Sidalcea malvaeflora sparsifolia, Chlorogalum pomeridianum, Calochortus sp., Dichelostemma pulchellum, Claytonia perfoliata (sensu latissimo), Lonicera interrupta, Cercocarpus betuloides, Adenostoma fasciculatum, Rhus trilobata, Cirsium californicum, Eriophyllum confertiflorum, Heteromeles arbutifolia, Rhamnus ilicifolia, Erigeron foliosus stenophyllus, etc.
