HabitatNearly flat plain along road, between hills of small valley. Slope 8 deg. , facing S72E. Fairly dense Pinyon-Joshus Tree woodland, Granitic sandy soil. With Gutierrezia, Cordylanthus, Yucca brevifolia, Achnatherum, Eriogonum fasciculatum, annual Eriogonum, Opuntia, Ephedra, Coleogyne ramosissima, Arctostaphylos, Phoradendron serotinum subsp. tomentosum, Quercus cornelius-mulleri, Artemisia tridentata subsp. vaseyana, Pinus monophylla, Opuntia basilaris, Cylindropuntia echinocarpa.
