Locality Near the intersection of Canada and Edgewood roads, about 3 mi westward from Redwood City
HabitatSerpentine fields bordered by chaparral. Area partly destroyed by road builing. Serpentine soil. Grassland with Layia platyglossa, Orthocarpus densiflorus, Lasthenia glabrata, Chaetopappa bellidiflora, Eschscholzia californica, Delphinium variegatum, Brodiaea pulchella, B. terrestris, Gilia tricolor as the common species. Planted near Eucalyptus globulus and Photinia arbutifolia.
