HabitatSandy small hills between mountains and large wash. Slope 5--20 degrees, facing W to S25E. Quaternary alluvium and aeolian sand. With Pectis papposa, Larrea tridentata, Hilaria rigida, Kallstroemia californica, Krameria, Ambrosia dumosa, Sporobolus flexuosis, Chamaesyce micromera, Psorothamnus emoryi, Palafoxia arida.
