Locality Stewart and Nuss gravel property in the narrowed San Joaquin R. bottom (where it runs ne-sw) just downstream from Hiway 99 and S.P.R.R. bridges.
HabitatRiver on s.e. side - separated from mile long pond on n.w. side by road-bearing dike 8-10' high. Potamogeton in several large, dense, 5' masses streaming out in a strong eddy in the river in rather deep water.
