HabitatA basalt flow formation. Growing in vernal pools. Occasional Pinus ponderosa on the flat. Associates: Castilleja attenuata, Eryngium spinosepalum, Lomatium caruifolium, Mimulus guttatus, Nemophila maculata, Plagiobothrys nothofulvus, Poa secunda, Pogogyne douglasii, and Trifolium variegatum. Northern Basalt Flow Vernal Pools.
