HabitatPinyon woodland with blackbrush scrub. Granitic boulders and coarse sandy soil. Summit area nearly flat. With Salazaria mexicana, Ephedra (viridis?), Coleogyne ramosissima, Yucca brevifolia, Eriogonum fasciculatum, Artemisia sp., Mirabilis sp., Echinocereus sp., Castilleja (Cho #1). Among boulders.
