HabitatSteep brushy slopes with stands of Quercus kelloggii, Pinus ponderosa, Calocedrus decurrens, Ceanothus, and giant thickets of Chamaebatia foliolosa pungent in the hot summer sun, and also with Eriogonum nudens, Elymus glauca, Stephanomeria virgata, Vulpia microstachys. On brushy slopes.
