Locality Along Mojave River in Afton Canyon, near railroad bridge.

HabitatSemi-alkaline flat and riparian area with shallow water. Quaternary alluvium, surrounded by hills of older alluvial gravel, Tertiary volcanic fanglomerate of andesite and chert cobble, and Manix Lake clay and silt sediments. With Distichlis spicata, Heliotropium curassavicum, Anemopsis californica, Atriplex lentiformis, Salix cf. gooddingii, Tamarix cf. ramosissima, Polypogon cf. monspeliensis, Baccharis cf. emoryi, Juncus torreyi, Typha domingensis, Schoenoplectus americanus. At edge of river.
