HabitatOpen gentle west-facing hillside. Quaternary alluvium surrounded by hills of biotite quartz monzonite and Tertiary fanglomerate. With Ephedra, Cylindropuntia ramosissima, Larrea tridentata, Ambrosia salsola, Thamnosma montana, Coleogyne ramosissima, Krameria, Cylindropuntia echinocarpa, Prunus fasciculata, Acamptopappus sphaerocephalus.
