HabitatWash with rolling hillsides, sloping about 8 degrees, facing N83E. Sand, quartz monzonite substrate. Desert scrub, with Ambrosia salsola, Forestiera pubescens, Atriplex canescens, Lycium, Encelia actonii, Prunus fasciculata, Purshia tridentata, Eriogonum fasciculatum polifolium, Yucca brevifolia, Xylorhiza tortifolia, Loeseliastrum matthewsii, Krascheninnikovia lanata, Eriastrum eremicum subsp. eremicum, Lepidium fremontii, Grayia spinosa.
