HabitatWash of coarse sand and cobble, Quaternary alluvium and older fanglomerate surrounded by hills of basalt. Nearly flat, but wash drains north. With Chilopsis linearis, Larrea tridentata, Lycium andersonii, Lepidospartum squamatum, Petalonyx thurberi, Ambrosia salsola, Camissonia claviformis, Ambrosia dumosa, Opuntia basilaris, Ericameria paniculata, Senna armata, Peritoma arborea, Eriastrum eremicum subsp. eremicum. In broad wash and on floodplain.
