|Habitat||On a steep, north, gravelly slope. About 40% of plants are 'pentachaeta' type, but half of these have plumose bristles; ca. 3% have glabrous disk-akenes and no pappus; remaining 57% have 10--14 plumose pappus bristles. Much variantion.|
