Associates: Arctostaphylos viscida ssp. mariposa, Ceanothus leucodermis, Cercis occidentalis, Cercocarpus betuloides, Clarkia modesta, Claytonia parviflora ssp. grandiflora, Pinus ponderosa, Poa secunda, Quercus chrysolepis, Q. wislizeni, Rhamnus ilicifolia, Rhus trilobata, Umbellularia californica, and Vulpia microstachys.
