HabitatAnnual desert grassland with grazing history, with Eschsholzia californica, Astragalus, Pectocarya, Lasthenia californica, Bromus spp. Frequent dwarf tufted annual grass. Gentle slopes, sandy gravel (decomposed granite). Disturbed soils at roadside.
