HabitatMixed conifer forest with Pinus contorta, Abies concolor, Abies magnifica, Chamaecyparis lawsoniana, Arctostaphylos nevadensis, Quercus vaccinifolia, Amelanchier utahensis, Chimaphila, Pyrola, Vaccinium caespitosum. Along road on dry gentle slope, in sun to partial shade. Granitic bedrock, silty gray soil mixed with gravel.
