Locality Ord Mountains, south of Tyler Valley, above gas line road extension of Harrod Rd. from south/Ord Mtn. Rd. from the north, west slope of hill 4835, Central Mojave Desert
Elevation 1433 - 1433m m
HabitatSteep rocky slopes with granite boulders, coarse decomposed granite soil, upland desert scrub with Salazaria, Ephedra viridis, Sphaeralcea ambigua, Stipa speciosa, etc. Scarce on dry slopes, but locally common along wash in rock bowl at 16N, 10W, widely scattered in area.
