Voucher information
macromorphologyCommon and/or scattered (none were seen in the large Carex dominated meadow further upstream). Plant height and size of flowers and inflorescences varied tremendously with actual location of the specimen. Plants with 1/2 inch wide flowers on 6 inch tall plants were found in the drier areas, while plants with 1 inch wide flowers on 2 foot tall plants were found in very wet (to nearly inundated) sites. Plants seemed to be most common where the riparian corridor (herbaceous vegetation) was only 6 to 12 feet wide.
