NotesOn same sheet as accession number CAS 257335, both are C. globosa from San Luis Obispo County. Note from R.F. Hoover circa 1964: Neither 5959 nor 5989 has teh perigynia any more prominently nerved than does E and H 5990 which Stacey called C. brevicaulis. If that feature separates the two, then both these are not C. globosa but brevicaulis. San Carpojo Creek name was rejected by the US Board on Geographic names and the name San Carpoforo Creek was adopted in 1942.;
