Locality Hiway 168 across Kaiser Pass - beyond Kaiser Pass Meadow
HabitatLast small tree grown mead on rt., efore steep S curve leading down to open granite area with Junipers. Pinus murrayana and occasional Abies magnifica. Meadow and its high dry spots and margins floristically rich but this date a little early for most things. Veratrum dug for medicinal research. Carex small clumped plants in moss along stock trail thru meadow - well broken up for pressing.
