HabitatOpen stand of Pinus coulteri. Exposure west. Associates: Pinus coulteri, Quercus agrifolia (small shrubs sprouting after 1931 burn, but never were large), Avena barbata, Bromus laevipes (3045), Elymus glaucus, Osmaronia cerasiformis, Phacelia californica (3046), Castilleja parviflora, Collinsia bicolor, Monardella villosa, Artemisia vulgaris, Eriophyllum lanatum, Wyethia glabra (3047), Melica torreyana.
