Locality Ca 2.5 mi SSW of Big Bar Mtn, on gentle SSE-facing slope on the N side of USFS rd 22N84, on serpentine outcrop which extends for 0.2 mi along the road.

HabitatOn serpentine outcrop with scattered California bay, Canyon live oak, Redbud, Rhamnus rubra, R.tomentella ssp. tomentella, and Ceanothus cuneatus. Diverse herbaceous cover includes Grindelia camporum, Trichostema lanceolatum, Brodiaea californica, Monardella sheltonii, Calycadenia truncata ssp. scabrella, and Polygala cornuta.
