Note: The epithet of this specific name, which commemorates M.O. Parthasarathy Iyengar, the eminent Indian phycologist, should be spelled parthasarathyi in accordance with Rec. 60C.1(a), enforced by Art. 60.11. The letter "y'' in this instance is a semivowel, but is treated as a vowel for the purposes of nomenclature.
