Monosporus Solier

Note: Solier (in Castagne, 1845: 242) originally spelled the generic name Monosporus and later changed it to Monospora, the form used for more than a century. Because of the existence of Monospora Hochstetter 1841 in the Flacourtiaceae, Setchell & Gardner proposed the substitute name Neomonospora. The original spelling should be restored.
