Note: S. Dixit (l.c.), mistakenly believing that W.R. Taylor & Rhyne (1970) had placed Solieria chordalis in the synonymy of Agardhiella tenera (J. Agardh) Schmitz (treated as a taxonomic synonym of A. subulata (C. Agardh) Kraft & Wynne), reported the Anand record of the former species under the latter name.
