Note: According to Kraft (1977b: 250–251), there is no apparent difference between Tenaciphyllum Børgesen (1953: 28), which Børgesen assigned to the Solieriaceae, and Tylotus J. Agardh (1876: 428–429), which Kraft transferred from the Gracilariaceae to the Dicranemataceae, but final disposition awaits collection of cystocarpic material.
