Note: Lithothamnion oblimans Heydrich was merged with L. myriocarpum Foslie by Foslie (1909: 9) under the latter name. Both names were published in 1897, but Heydrich's paper appeared a few month before Foslie's so that L. oblimans has priority.

Addendum: Neogoniolithon oblimans (Heydrich) P. Silva was validated in Silva, Basson, & Moe (University of California Publications in Botany 79: 264. 1996).
