Note: In transferring Duthiea setchellii to Arthrocardia, Johansen was obligated to propose a new epithet because of the prior existence of A. setchellii Manza (1937b: 570; type locality: Port Nolloth, Atlantic coast of South Africa), a species not reported from the Indian Ocean.
