INDIAN OCEAN DISTRIBUTION: South Africa (Cape Morgan; mouth of Kowie River).
Note: This manuscript name was found by Delf & Michell (l.c.) on specimens in the Tyson collection (at BOL) which also bore the Becker manuscript name Halymenia palmatifida. Papenfuss (notes) thought that the Kowie material represented an undescribed species, possibly of Aeodes.
