Correspondence 1 indicates that the combination Thelypodium integrifolium was published by Wilhelm Gerhard Walpers (Walp. in Authors of Plant Names) in Repertorium Botanices Systematicae 1:172 (1842), wherein he ascribed the name, but not the description, to "Endl. mss." (= Authors of Plant Names), and that the basionym, Pachypodium integrifolium, was published by Thomas Nuttall (Nutt. in Authors of Plant Names) in Torrey and Gray, A Flora of North America 1:96 (1838), wherein Torrey and Gray ascribed the name and description to Nuttall. [Therefore, author citation corrected to Thelypodium integrifolium (Nutt.) Endl. ex Walp., from Thelypodium integrifolium (Torr. & A. Gray) Endl. previously in this Index, 10 Jun 2005.]
