Correspondence and Comments Subsequent to Initial Analysis
Correspondence 1 2 May 2006 e-mail from Jeffrey A. Greenhouse see Comment 1
Editorial Comments 1 Correspondence 1 indicates that Stellaria longifolia was published by Carl Willdenow (Willd. in Authors of Plant Names) in Enumeratio Plantarum Horti Botanici Berolinensis 1:479 (1809), wherein he ascribed the name to Muhlenberg (Muhl. in Authors of Plant Names) but provided his own diagnosis. [Therefore, author citation expanded to Stellaria longifolia Muhl. ex Willd., from Stellaria longifolia Willd. previously in this Index, 2 May 2006.]
