Editorial Comments 1
|
Correspondence 1 indicates that Job Kuijt, in Monograph of Phoradendron (Viscaceae), Systematic Botany Monographs 66:120-125 (2003), includes Phoradendron densum and Phoradendron pauciflorum within a broadly circumscribed and variable species Phoradendron bolleanum, with no infraspecific taxa recognized, although Delbert Wiens and Frank Hawksworth (The Jepson Manual [Ed. 1] Co-Authors), in Aliso 21:34-36 (2002), had earlier reiterated their taxonomic treatment in The Jepson Manual [Ed. 1] (in which the two are treated as distinct species).
