Editorial Comments 1 Correspondence 1 indicates that Refulio-Rodriguez et al. (2012. Syst. Bot. 37:130) transferred Dissanthelium californicum [see also correspondence under that name] to Poa, publishing the new name Poa thomasii N. F. Refulio-Rodriguez for that taxon (the name Poa californica was preoccupied), and that the phylogenetic data for this transfer are compelling.
Pending data Poa thomasii N. F. Refulio-Rodriguez may become the accepted name for Dissanthelium californicum (Nutt.) Benth.
