Editorial Comments 1 Correspondence 1 indicates that the name Plantago sempervirens was used in a listing of plant records (collections and sightings) contained in the Santa Monica Mountains-Simi Hills (SMMSH) database and associated files, which includes "all taxa reported for the two areas even though we have yet to find vouchers or reports with location data to substantiate the listing of some taxa", and that for this name there are no voucher specimens, although there is mention of it in an Environmental Impact Report. [Plantago sempervirens Crantz not included in Kartesz & Meacham2, indicated in Fl. Europaea (vol. 4, p. 44; Tutin, et al., 1976) as native sw Europe to c Italy, locally naturalized c Europe.]
