Correspondence 1 indicates that the epithet of the synonym should be spelled "hoffmanii". [According to the protologue for Streptanthus glandulosus var. hoffmanii Kruckeb. (Madroño 14: 223. 1958), the syn, the epithet evidently is for the collector of the one cited specimen, "Hoffman 2343 (UC)", and so is to be spelled "hoffmanii". Therefore, spelling of epithet of synonym corrected to "hoffmanii", from "hoffmannii" previously in this Index, 28 Mar 2013.]
